Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE)
Who are they?
The Institute for Business Competitiveness is the regional Agency responsible for economic growth activities. It is managed by the Regional Government of Castilla y León. ICE’s objective is to boost the competitiveness of Castilla y León’s productive scheme and to invigorate and subsidise the business innovative strategy.
The key activities of ICE are: encourage public and private projects for business and employment creation; handle investment initiatives; implement and project economic assistance measures; international promotion with the aim of attracting foreign investment; provide services that helps the regional advancement; give financial aids and services linked to R & D & I, including the promotion of national and international programmes. ICE has financed more than 32,000 projects for companies, pulling more than 3.200 M€ of investment in the private sector of the region. In addition, ICE has been directly involved in more than 20 innovation actions including FP5, FP6, FP7 and H2020 programmes.

ICE is a SUSFOOD partner since 2017 and funder in one SUSFOOD 2-project (SPAREC).
